Williams says 'learning is a key objective' in 2020
Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams has reiterated that the team is still on the path to recovery after the worst season in their history.
The road to recovery is long for Williams, and the deputy team principal has said that 2020 is the next step in the recovery.
"[The goal is] to make progress," said Williams. "We've always said that. We said that last year, we're saying it this year.
"We're still on our journey to recovery, and still putting bricks in the wall in order to achieve that.

"Certainly for everybody that's been working hard behind the scenes at Grove these past 12 months, we've all undergone huge transformation and change.
"What we would like to see now are the rewards of that change. The business really is unrecognisable from where we were, from everything, whether that be structures, processes, policies etcetera."
Williams said that the methods of designing and developing a car at Williams have changed completely to those used as recently as in 2018, and she pressed home that learning is the main objective for the team.
"So to continue learning is a key objective," continued Williams. "We're still going to be learning over the course of this year in order to make a continual improvement, and that's what we've got to demonstrate.
"I'm so pleased to see the changes we have made have been embraced by everybody within the team, and that we are starting to see some rewards from those changes we've put in place, but we've still a long way to go to get Williams back to where we want to see it."
