Albon's Red Bull seat fitting under way before Belgian GP debut
Alexander Albon reported to Red Bull HQ on Monday for a seat fitting ahead of making his bow with the team at the Belgian Grand Prix,
Albon's 13th race in F1 will come in arguably the form car on the grid, with Max Verstappen having taken two of the last four wins on offer and going close in Hungary too.
Pierre Gasly's inability to get close enough to Verstappen's performances led to his demotion to Toro Rosso, however, with Albon chosen ahead of former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat for a chance in the senior team over the remainder of 2019.
It remains to be seen how quickly Albon will get up to speed, but Red Bull say they will evaluate each of Albon, Gasly and Kvyat over the rest of the season as they ponder who to pair Verstappen with in 2020.
