F1 Mobile Racing game launched this week
Formula 1 and games designer, Codemasters, are launching F1 Mobile Racing this coming Thursday on Apple devices, with the new game set to be based on the 2018 championship, featuring all 21 circuits as well as all 10 teams and 20 drivers competing on the current grid.
Codemasters currently design and produce the official F1 video game on the PC platform, and have promised a “console-quality gameplay experience on your mobile”.
As well as the usual gameplay modes featured within racing games, users will have the opportunity to take part in time-limited events which will run alongside official Grand Prix races. With just four races remaining, however, the chance for this particular mode to impress will largely have to wait until the next season commences in 2019.
Players can earn rewards from their performances and update and modify their vehicles, while there is also a multiplayer option available.
The launch for iPhone comes on Thursday 18th October, while the Android release date is yet to be confirmed.
