Honda is a Japanese car manufacturer with a rich history in the sport of F1. Since 1964 the brand has had a presence on the grid - either with its own team (1964-1968 and 2006-2008) or as an engine supplier. In the latter role it has enjoyed massive success, notably with Williams (1983-1987), McLaren (1988-1992) and more recently with Red Bull during the Max Verstappen glory years. The late, great Ayrton Senna won all three of his world titles with a Honda-powered McLaren. Honda is now providing power units to Aston Martin in 2026 but things have not started well, with the team's drivers struggling to finish races due to vibrations from the power unit.
