Ricciardo - Will the McLaren driver win an F1 title?

Australian has won eight grands prix in his career

It's Australian Grand Prix week and a return home for Daniel Ricciardo who, along with his McLaren team, has endured a tough start to the new F1 season.

Despite early pre-season promise, McLaren is on the backfoot in its bid to get on top of and understand the new aerodynamic regulations.

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner expressed sympathy for his former driver, claiming it to be "tough" for the Australian since he left his organisation after rejecting a "stratospheric" offer to remain.

There is no doubt Ricciardo can still win races, as we saw last year at Monza, and there is still time on his side as he is only 32.

But our question on our daily poll for today is, will Ricciardo become an F1 champion before he eventually leaves the sport?
