Mercedes has released a fascinating insight into the operational side of an F1 grand prix weekend.

All F1 fans are aware of the support team that travels with each driver for a race weekend, including their mechanics, race engineers, physios and PR specialists to name a few, yet many are unaware of the operations that take place back at the factory simultaneously.

The Mercedes 'race support room' is a hub of information that is just a buttons-press away from the trackside team, providing vital data that could make or break a race weekend.
