Fernando Alonso is under investigation for allegedly failing to respect double-waved yellow flags during qualifying for the Turkish Grand Prix.
The Alpine driver impressed throughout the hour's session in difficult damp-to-dry conditions to qualify sixth fastest, although Alonso will be promoted to fifth courtesy of Lewis Hamilton's 10-place grid penalty for an ICE change.
The two-time world champion has, however, been summoned for supposedly failing to slow in a double-yellow zone just three minutes into the qualifying session.
At last year's Turkish Grand Prix, Lando Norris was handed a five-place grid penalty and three penalty points on his super licence after falling foul of the same infringement.
Multiple drivers spun off the track at turn one throughout the session with the corner failing to dry as quickly as other points on the race track.
