VIDEO: Bottas wrecks Mercedes in Singapore practice shunt

Valtteri Bottas made an inauspicious start to his Singapore Grand Prix after shunting hard into the barriers during FP1.

Bottas lost control at Turn 18 and clobbered the wall sideways, ending his session almost immediately.

The Finnis team-mate Lewis Hamilton's closest title rival, but is 63 points adrift and ended Friday over a second down on Hamilton's best time.
