Lando Norris has picked up a foot injury before the Belgian Grand Prix, the McLaren driver revealed on Twitch.

Norris told subscribers that he would be fine to race, despite being fitted with a medical boot on his left leg.

A McLaren statement revealed Norris had damaged a tendon in his foot and the 19-year-old opened a window on its severity by saying: "It fricking hurts!"

Formula 1 returns to the track this week at the Belgian Grand Prix but it seems likely that Norris will be in action.

Norris was seemingly OK to walk without the boot this weekend, as he visited MotoGP's British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The F1 racer also had the chance to meet motorcycle racing legend Valentino Rossi, who finished the race in fourth.
