There will be plenty of support for the Dutchman.
Max Verstappen says he can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of his Red Bull for the next race in Germany, as he will likely receive plenty of support from compatriots from the Netherlands just over the border.
The Dutchman has been one of the stand-out performers of the 2019 season so far, and is the only driver not within the Mercedes team to win a GP, which he did in Red Bull’s home race in Austria. He is also one of the best-supported performers, with fans from the Netherlands travelling in their thousands to races in Austria, France, Britain, and Germany in particular.
The next race is at the Hockenheimring, where Verstappen will be boosted again by the ‘Orange Army’.
“I like the German Grand Prix and there are always lots of Dutch fans to support us at Hockenheim as it’s not far to travel,” he told verstappen.nl.
“The stadium section is very cool as you enter into a fast corner and then a banked corner with only a small area of run-off.”

Verstappen has provided some of the most exciting moments of the last few races, particularly with his duels with Charles Leclerc, his good form means he is excited to get racing again after the weekend break.
“There is quite a bit of time to be gained through the last few corners if you get the right flow onto the straight,” he added.
“I think it’s going to be a warm weekend again which is always more challenging and more fun. We’re on a good run with the car and improving every weekend, so I can’t wait to get started again.”
