This week, it was announced that the Sauber name would end its association with Formula 1 after 26 years on the grid, with Alfa Romeo Racing set to become the team's moniker from the start of the 2019 season onwards. Alfa Romeo came back into F1 last year as the title sponsor of Sauber, but now the Sauber name has been dropped completely.
