Qualifying for the F1 Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort takes place today (Saturday August 22) with 22 drivers locked in a thrilling battle for pole.

Sixty minutes of pure motorsport drama at this iconic circuit will set the grid for Sunday's showdown, and the stakes could not be higher.

Sprint qualifying on Friday gave us some clues as to what might happen this afternoon and it suggested we are in for a thrilling showdown.

George Russell claimed a sprint pole for Mercedes in a thrilling finish, less than a tenth ahead of the trio of Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri. Championship rivals Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, could claim only P5 and P7 and will look to atone this afternoon.

It should be spectacular action again and we have all the detail you need to enjoy the session on TV.
