F1 action returns from its 2026 summer break with the Dutch Grand Prix this afternoon (Sunday August 23), and we have the very latest on the weather forecast from Zandvoort.

The Dutch Grand Prix marks round 12 of the 2026 F1 season, and it is also a special weekend due to the fact that it will be the last time the sport races at Zandvoort for the foreseeable future.

The Dutch Grand Prix has been removed from the F1 calendar from 2027 onwards, with this being the last time that Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and company will race around the 2.646-mile track in the Netherlands.

So, what does the weather look like as Zandvoort prepares to bow out from F1, and could we see any rain over the weekend?

Dutch Grand Prix 2026 weather

This is how the current forecast looks for Zandvoort, which is just a 45-minute drive from the Dutch capital Amsterdam:

Sunday August 23: Dutch Grand Prix

After intermittent rain throughout Friday and Saturday in Zandvoort, Sunday's forecast once again carries a threat of rain at the coastal track.

Cloudy weather is currently expected, with the forecast predicting between a 10 and 27 per cent chance of rainfall throughout the morning and early afternoon.

UPDATE: With 45 minutes until lights out, rain hit the track, followed by some drizzle as the shower moved past.

While there is again a small chance of rain in the build-up to lights out, by the time the Dutch Grand Prix gets under way at 15:00 local time (14:00 UK), the threat of precipitation stands at just four per cent.

However, that does increase to 14 per cent at 16:00, while the chances of rain increase further to 30 per cent at 17:00, should the race have any delays.

Of course, weather can change fast, so be sure to keep an eye out on our forecast throughout the weekend as we bring you regular updates on the situation.
