GPFans are giving you the chance to vote for the helmet design that you think is the most iconic Formula 1 has ever seen.

While compiling the shortlist, we felt that for a design to be considered iconic, you must be able to doodle it reasonably accurately in the margin of a notebook - something we do a lot!

With this in mind, a lot of the more complicated modern designs took themselves out of the running, although several did make a longer first draft of the list.

Here are our top 10, now it's your turn to vote for which one should take the top spot.
