VIDEO: Marquez's F1 test behind the scenes

He's more or less unstoppable on two wheels, but can Marc Marquez tame the best on four? The four-time MotoGP champion was let loose on a Toro Rosso Formula 1 car at the Red Bull Ring recently and Honda have offered up a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the test.

Since debuting in Moto GP in 2013, Marquez has won four titles in five years and is currently on course for a fifth in 2018 with Repsol Honda.

Back in June, the Spaniard was allowed behind the wheel of a 2012-spec Toro Rosso - according to Dr Helmut Marko turning in lap times not a million miles away from the best in F1 by the end of the day!

He is not the first man to dabble on both two and four wheels. John Surtees won titles on both - making him the only man to win both the F1 and premier-class motorcycle championships.

Modern-day legend Valentino Rossi extensively tested with Ferrari in the 2000s, although a move never materialised.

Could Marquez end up in F1 some day? He certainly didn't rule it out, speaking after his test: "It was always my dream to race the quickest cars in the world. I had great respect for it ahead of today, and I didn't sleep well. In the end it was an unbelievable experience, and an absolute highlight of my career."
