Shocking footage emerges of Zhou's horrific British GP crash

Shocking footage has emerged of the moment Zhou Guanyu miraculously escaped with his life following a frightening crash at the start of the British Grand Prix.
Initial contact with George Russell's Mercedes pitched over Zhou's Alfa Romeo, with the roll hoop collapsing, leading to the C42 sliding along the Silverstone circuit on the halo that ultimately saved the 23-year-old Chinese driver.
The footage, captured by a fan in the Abbey grandstand, is a head-on shot that shows Zhou upside down as the car hurtles at speed over the track, then the gravel run-off before flipping over a tyre barrier and into the catch fencing.
Zhou eventually came to rest in between the barrier and catch fencing from where he was extracted and taken to the medical centre for checks, later being given the all-clear.
Please note, the video contains strong language.
