Ricciardo and Hulkenberg's #Race1000 lids are pretty epic

Great work from Renault!

Renault drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo will both be sporting amazing retro helmets for the Chinese Grand Prix – the 1000th World Championship race. Drivers have been given free reign to bring one-off designs to Shanghai this weekend, but these might be our favourites.

Ricciardo's regular 2019 lid has already turned heads this year, but his China effort is a stripped-back silver effort, paying tribute to Jack Brabham, with Hulkenberg opting for a retro twist on his existing design.

It'll soon be back to coded messages and overly elaborate patterns, but for now we can bask in the glory of these amazing designs.
