Sky Sports F1 pundit Ted Kravitz' Notebook has become a must-watch for F1 fans during a race weekend.

However, the increasingly gruelling F1 schedule means that the legendary reporter is no longer present at every single race throughout the season.

That is the case in the Netherlands this time around, with Kravitz and a host of other Sky Sports F1 pundits absent as the sport returns from the summer break at the Dutch Grand Prix.

Ted's Notebook - When is it next on TV?

With Kravitz not in attendance in Zandvoort, there will be no Ted's Notebook on Sky Sports F1 from the Dutch Grand Prix.

Indeed, while Bernie Collins has deputised for Kravitz reporting from the pit lane throughout the weekend in Zandvoort, she will not be doing the same on the Notebook (much to our disappointment).

Thankfully, fans won't have to wait too long before Kravitz and Ted's Notebook is back on our screens, though.

Kravitz is set to return to his Sky Sports F1 duties for the Italian Grand Prix at Monza next month (September 4-6), meaning that is also when Ted's Notebook will next be broadcast.

Why is Ted Kravitz not at the Dutch GP?

Kravitz confirmed the reason for his absence during his last Ted's Notebook at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

As per Kravitz in Budapest, he and Sky Sports F1 colleague Simon Lazenby are currently in the Lake District.

“We will see you for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of August," he said live on air in Hungary.

“I'll still be on my outbound course with Simon Lazenby on Ullswater Lake, so I won't be there.

“So I will return with the notebook at the Italian Grand Prix."

How did Ted's Notebook start?

The Notebook started as a written column on the ITV Sport website. When Ted moved to BBC Sport in 2009, he brought the concept with him and created a series of features titled "From the Pit Lane with Ted Kravitz".

After joining Sky Sports F1 for the 2012 season, the Notebook was transformed into a 30-minute live show and quickly gained popularity among fans, becoming the go-to source for exclusive stories and interviews with drivers.

Ted's technical knowledge also comes into play, as he expertly explains new rules and developments in F1 in a manner that is easy to understand and often sprinkled with a classic touch of humour, making it essential viewing for F1 fans new and experienced.
