F1 Schedule 2026: Every race date and TV details as two races CANCELLED

We are now down to just 22 races after two cancellations

The F1 schedule for 2026 is now down to just 22 races after F1 was forced to cancel the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The current conflict in the Middle East led the sport to make the much-anticipated announcement during Chinese Grand Prix. The races (scheduled for April 12 and 19) will not not happen and will not be replaced on the calendar.

That means we know have a big gap from the Japanese Grand Prix on March 29 to Miami as the next race on May 3. An early (second) summer break...

Sky Sports F1 will again have the rights to show the 2026 season but there is a big change in the US, where Apple TV now has the rights after outbidding ESPN.

The next F1 race

The next race is the Japanese Grand Prix in the iconic surroundings of Suzuka on Sunday March 29. Practice begins on Friday March 27.

New F1 races in 2026

There is one new addition to the calendar in 2026 and it is the Spanish Grand Prix at the new Madring circuit on September 13.

The Circuit de Catalunya remains on the calendar but with a renamed race - the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
