Giuliano Alesi and Marcus Armstrong were handed their Ferrari debuts on Monday to spearhead a five-day test by the Scuderia at Fiorano.
Driving the SF71H from 2018, for the 21-year-old Alesi, it was his first time in an F1 car, just over 30 years after father Jean first drove the F1-90 at the same circuit.
Fellow Driver Academy product in 20-year-old Armstrong, who will drive in F2 with DAMS this year, has become only the second New Zealander to get behind the wheel of a Ferrari F1 car after Chris Amon who raced for the Scuderia from 1967 to 1969.
Charles Leclerc will take over for a full day of running on Tuesday, followed by new team-mate Carlos Sainz on Wednesday and Thursday morning.
F2 champion and new Haas recruit Mick Schumacher drives on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, while Ferrari's new test driver and F2 runner-up Callum Ilott completes the running on Friday afternoon.
