Ricciardo targets "immeasurable" American boost

Daniel Ricciardo has labelled the "extra energy" he is able to harness from the crowd at the United States Grand Prix as "immeasurable".
The Australian has made no secret of his affection for America during his time in F1, with the Circuit of the Americas often providing Ricciardo with his most enjoyable weekends of the season.
Last year, Ricciardo was given a drive in Dale Earnhardt NASCAR machinery at the Texan venue last season, with his demonstration run bringing cheers around the circuit.
With the McLaren driver unlikely to be on the grid next season, a final opportunity to experience the US atmosphere beckons as Ricciardo aims to secure only a sixth points finish of the campaign.
“The US GP is one of my absolute favourite races of the year," said Ricciardo.
"The extra energy I get from the atmosphere is immeasurable and I love everything about it. From the crowd to the food and music, it’s like nothing else. I can't wait to get on track.
"I’m looking forward to the last four races of the season and trying everything to maximise the results to keep us in the fight for fourth in the championship.”
Norris hopeful of continuing hot streak
Lando Norris is on a four-race scoring streak as McLaren tries to overcome Alpine's challenge for fourth in the constructors' championship.
The Briton has picked up positive results on his previous visits to COTA and is hopeful of continuing his fine form.
“I’m buzzing to be back in Austin, it's such a great city to race in and the fans are always brilliant so it should be an exciting weekend," explained Norris.
"The track is a fun one, with some cool features similar to tracks such as Suzuka so I’m looking forward to getting out there and seeing how the new regulation cars run.
"I've had a points finish both times I’ve raced there so hopefully, we can keep up the streak and get some valuable points for the constructors’ championship.”
