Hamilton putting himself at risk - Webber
Lewis Hamilton is at risk of harming his Formula 1 career with his off-track actions, former Red Bull driver Mark Webber has warned. World champion Hamilton spent much of the off-season sharing images on social media of himself partaking in extreme sports.
Mercedes' dominance of the hybrid era in F1 has helped Hamilton win three of the last four drivers' titles, with the Silver Arrows taking constructors' honours in each of the last four years.
The Brit's off-track activities are perhaps just as noteworthy as his racing, with regular appearances alongside celebrities from all corners of popular culture.
But it is the extreme-sports side of Hamilton's character that worries Webber, who competed in part of the 2009 season with metal rods in his leg after an off-season road accident.
"I am not in Lewis' camp, but I'd be concerned because I get very uncomfortable when I see him on skidoos," Webber told The Sun.

"There is plenty of time to do that later — I know that because I dodged a bullet in my career.
"It happens fast and he has such an amazing opportunity.
"It is hard to see it at the end of your nose and I just hope he is not running that tightrope a bit too tight at times. But Lewis gets off on that, and that's what it is like.

"You have to do some sport. You cannot spend all the time in the gym or wrapped up in cotton wool.
"But we all think we are invincible and that's why we sometimes end up smashing ourselves up."
