Verstappen and Perez dynamic "up there" with Red Bull's best - Horner
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes the team dynamic between Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen is "up there" with the best in Red Bull's time in F1.
Perez joined the team at the start of the year to replace Alex Albon and has been tasked with aiding Verstappen clinch both the drivers' and constructors' titles.
The bond between the pair has appeared to be strong with Verstappen backing the Mexican despite tough races through the year and asked where the partnership ranks in Red Bull's history of team-mates, Horner told Sky Sports F1: "It is up there.
"There was always a good dynamic with Daniel, also Alex last year there was never any issues but Sergio knows what the objectives are for these remaining seven races and one of those key objectives is having him as close to the front as we can possibly get him."
Perez returned to the podium in Turkey having been absent from the top three in every race since the French Grand Prix in June and on whether the two-time grand prix winner was pumped for the end of the season, Horner replied: "Absolutely.
"At this stage of a championship, experience will come into play," he added.
"He should have been on the podium in Monza, he could have been on the podium in Sochi.
"He is going to play a key role in the constructors' championship and of course, both he and Valtteri are going to play a key role as well potentially in the drivers' [championship]"
