Hockenheim start lights smashed by bus!
There was a bizarre moment ahead of the German Grand Prix as a bus smashed into the start lights on the pit straight at the Hockenheimring.
Repairs were required after the incident on Thursday, and a low clearance warning was switched on to prevent a repeat.
A bus just crashed into the starting lights. Don't think we can race like that.#AMuS #GermanGP #F1 pic.twitter.com/S5C5rDkgzS

It's not the first time that a misjudgement has led to track damage in 2019.
Practice in Azerbaijan was halted when George Russell's car was damaged by a loose drain cover, and the farce continued as the Williams was taken back to the pits on a low-loader, which crashed into a bridge in Baku.
