NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer was so incensed with the actions of Ryan Newman on the cool-down lap of the stock-car series' All-Star race on Saturday that he was moved to throw punches through his rivals window while the pair were in the pit-lane.

The pair made contact while on the post-race tour of the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Bowyer clearly felt that Newman was at fault and took out his frustrations in a sensational manner.

Check out the brawl – helmets and all – below.

Both were remarkably sanguine about the incident afterwards…
