Vettel happy for 'boring' Canada GP
Sebastian Vettel would be happy to see his tendency for action in Montreal subside in favour of a "boring" Ferrari win at this week's Canadian Grand Prix. Vettel has one win in Canada to his name, from 2013, but has seen other races here slip through his fingers.
None of Vettel's near-misses will come close to 2011, when he slid out of the lead on the last lap to hand Jenson Button victory in F1's longest race in history.

In 2016, Vettel blamed, with tongue planted in cheek, some brave seagulls for ruining his race start, but he will have few excuses this week, with Ferrari firm favourites thanks to an upgraded power unit, while Mercedes have had to shelve their new engine.
"For some reason I've had interesting races here," Vettel said. "It's a good place, a lot of hype around this place, in the city. A lot of people who come to the track are excited.
"Hopefully we have a good race. It's normal that every now and then you have a boring race. Monaco is not the best race to overtake, but it should be different here so let's see.
"If we have a boring race on Sunday, having the cars running one and two, we would still be happy with that, but that's a long way from now.
"So far we've had a good car on the straights. We have a very efficient car this year. It should help us on this type of track.

"The tyres will be key, make sure they work and that they last. A couple of key points, but I like the track, I like being here."
With every team's engines pushed to its limits, an ability to make the hypersoft tyres last will be crucial and Vettel believes that could play into Red bull's hands.
"I think first of all they had a better tyre wear than other people in Monaco and obviously that could help them here," he explained.
"This track is different again and a different layout but I don't know what they are having or not - and what they have brought for updates and so on. I think we need to wait and see, but I expect it to be close just like the other races and hopefully Ferrari in front."
