Honda heights, Vettel's omen and what you missed from the Bahrain Grand Prix

Pierre Gasly's fourth-place finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix left two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso firmly in the shade. Here's what else you might have missed from Sunday's action at Sakhir, including a sign that Sebastian Vettel could be on for title number five.

• Gasly secured the best finish for a Honda-powered car since the 2008 British Grand Prix - a third-place finish in a works car for Rubens Barrichello - besting anything Alonso had managed over the past three years at McLaren.
• Call of the search! We already know our 2018 world champion! It must be Vettel - no driver has won the opening two races of a season and failed to win the title since Alain Prost in 1982!
• Another notable points-scorer was Marcus Ericsson, who took ninth for Sauber. It was the Swede's first points finish in 50 races - a tied F1 record drought!
• Ericsson was one of only four drivers to successfully execute a one-stop race. The other three made up the podium!
• There a few post-race punishments for the stewards to dole out. Ferrari were fined €50,000 for the unsafe release of Kimi Raikkonen's car that left a mechanic with a badly broken leg. Brendon Hartley and Sergio Perez were handed 30-second penalties for an overtake... which took place on the formation lap!
• Red Bull's race was run by lap six as Daniel Ricciardo's car shut down and Max Verstappen suffered damage in a collision with Lewis Hamilton. The team decided to get a head start on the journey to China for next week's race and had the majority of their garage packed away before the race in Sakhir had finished!

After investigation, a suspected electrical engine issue put pay to Daniel's #BahrainGP, while Max was forced to retire after sustaining too much damage from his early puncture ????
