This time last year, he was retiring, now Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton is leaving Mercedes to take up a career in MotoGP! Did you make sure to check the date? Yep, it's the Briton's latest HILARIOUS April Fool's Day prank. Sorry if we scared you!

Though a star of four wheels, Hamilton is renowned for being a fan of two-wheeled machines, regularly sharing imges of him on motorcycles across social media.

He has previously arrived at grands prix on two wheels and you can even buy a MV Agusta F4 LH44 - craftily named after him as you might notice...
