Former McLaren, Renault and Haas F1 driver Kevin Magnussen will finally team up with father Jan when they tackle the Le Mans 24 Hours in August.
It will be the first time Kevin has raced with Jan in competition as they join fellow Dane Anders Fjordback at High Class Racing.
Magnussen Sr has forged a successful career in sportscars since leaving F1 in the late 1990s after driving for McLaren and Stewart, winning his class on four occasions with Corvette Racing.
After leaving Haas at the end of last season, son Kevin began his sportscar journey by narrowly missing out on Daytona 24 Hours victory in January with Chip Ganassi Racing.
Announcing the news on social media, Kevin said: "Here we go! My dad and I are going to be racing in the same team at Le Mans this year in LMP2.
"It’s something we’ve tried to do for years and truly a dream come true."
