Williams complete FW43B shakedown

Williams complete FW43B shakedown

Williams has completed a shakedown of the FW43B at Silverstone ahead of the official launch of the car on March 5.

After McLaren took to the track on Tuesday, Williams has become the second team to roll out its 2021 challenger for a track session.

The car is the first to be created without the controlling influence of the Williams family after the team was sold to Dorilton Capital last year.

The car ran in a plain livery as the team completed the permitted 100km distance in using one of its two permitted filming days.

It is understood the running was smooth with the team working through a planned programme.

A short clip posted on social media showed Nicholas Latifi watching from the pit lane as the car, presumably piloted by George Russell, powered along the Silverstone start straight.
