VIDEO: F1 Testing Day 4 Q&A from Barcelona
The first test of Formula 1's pre-season concluded on Thursday, with plenty of surprise names taking spots in the upper echelons of the timesheets. Lap times are not generally taken with too much consideration, but the presence of all four manufacturers in the top six lap times hints at a 2019 to remember!
Nico Hulkenberg was the surprise name in P1 after the end of four days, although it is unclear whether Renault themselves, never mind the rest of the field, have run at their full potential at the Circuit de Catalunya.
While we wait for qualifying in Melbourne for all the answers, for now we can only speculate, and Mercedes upping the pace on Thursday did plenty to whet fans' appetites after Ferrari had been pegged as having a clear advantage over their rivals.
With plenty to mull over, Rob Watts fielded the best of your questions over at @GPFansGlobal on Instagram at the end of day four in Barcelona.
