Vettel fights back at COTA
Sebastian Vettel hit back in the third and final session before qualifying at the United States Grand Prix, leading an all-Ferrari 1-2 ahead of Kimi Raikkonen, with title rival Lewis Hamilton in third. Vettel will be desperate for a similar result in quali at the Circuit of the Americas as he faces the prospect of a three-place grid penalty.
After Saturday's running was wrecked by rain, the circuit was incredibly busy for the FP3, with teams attempting to cram in both qualifying and long-run simulations.
Vettel ended up on top, although there was intrigue on the Scuderia's set-up.

The new upgraded floor that Ferrari have brought to this race was on neither Vettel or Raikkonen's cars, with Ferrari likely bailing out of using it after failing to gather data yesterday.
Fans of racing will hope Vettel and Hamilton come as close as they briefly did in FP3, although the German might put up a bit more of a fight on the back straight…
