Former F1 driver Jos Verstappen reacted furiously after son Max hit the wall when destined for pole at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Championship leader Verstappen was in blistering form, almost half a second faster than Lewis Hamilton heading into the final corner of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit when he slid into the outside wall, gifting his title rival pole position.
Father Jos, who attends most F1 races in support of his son who is aiming to become the first Dutch driver to become champion, can be seen below thumping the table in front of him in anger after the error.
The mistake has now handed Hamilton, who goes into the inaugural Saudi event eight points adrift of Verstappen, a chance of heading to the final race in Abu Dhabi with the championship lead.
Verstappen will start from third, behind the second Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas.
