Formula 1 returns with the practice one for the season opening Austrian Grand Prix on July 3, but the paddock has a very different look in 2020.
Ordinarily, teams would park the transporters as close to the back of the garage as possible, leaving plenty of space to park the lavish motorhomes. For 2020 however, these homes from home have no place in the paddock.
Without sponsors or guests to home for the weekend, teams have little need for the extra facility.
Instead, and to increase working space for mechanics, space which allows for social distancing, teams have placed awnings at the back of the garages.
To this point, the paddock is also a far quieter place.
Restricted to just 80 members of team personnel for 'closed event' grands prix, only 60 of these are permitted to work on the cars.
