Haas confirm new team colours for 2019 F1 season
Haas have confirmed the long-anticipated news that their team colours will be black and gold in 2019 after signing a sponsorship deal with UK-based energy drink company Rich Energy. Haas shared a picture of drivers Romain Grosjean, Kevin Magnussen and Pietro Fittipaldi each bedecked in the colours on Wednesday.
Rich Energy's branding is uniform black and gold, sparking hopes of a return to the grid of a famous colour combination, seen on famous Lotus cars in the 1970s and 1980s.
Haas will break cover on its car's 2019 livery on Thursday, but the colour scheme is seemingly confirmed a day ahead after a team shot was shared to social media.

The American squad have entered into a new title sponsorship with energy drink company rich Energy, which will prompt a change of livery for the coming season.
Rich Energy have made clear their intention to break into the world of Formula 1, having a stated intention of rivalling Red Bull on several fronts both on and off the track.
The company was an interested party in buying Force India as the team went into administration, but financial concerns meant a deal never went through and the team was ultimately purchased by a consortium led by Lawrence Stroll.
Williams deputy team principal Claire Williams was spotted showing Rich Energy CEO William Storey around the paddock at last year's United States GP, but a deal with Haas was announced just a few days later.

With much interest in how it will impact the look of the team in 2019, Rich Energy shared concepts that matched similar plans they had previously shared when in talks with Force India.
The colours hark back to classic Lotus liveries when the team was sponsored by cigarette brand John Player Special – the likes of Ayrton Senna, Mario Andretti and Nigel Mansell all raced in the iconic colours.
