Mercedes to completely change F1 livery?
Mercedes have set tongues wagging by hinting at a major livery change for its 2019 Formula 1 car. Whether a new look will be in place for the car's reveal next week, parts of pre-season testing, the full year… or not at all remains up in the air, but it's getting us seriously excited…
The Silver Arrows have stuck to their nickname since returning to F1 in 2010, with consistent liveries on the cars made up mostly of, you guessed it, silver!
More blues and greens have been woven into the car's look in recent years and a post on Twitter from the team suggested that a completely new look could come to the fore when the car is revealed next week.
Silver is so last season... ????#WelcomeW10 pic.twitter.com/daTy26Tivd — Mercedes-AMG F1 (@MercedesAMGF1) February 5, 2019
Mercedes' tease has already led to much theorising and speculation online.
It has also prompted a number of concept liveries, including this beauty posted to Reddit.
My take on the W10 livery from r/formula1
One thing's for sure, next week can't come quick enough now!
