Hubert honoured at Spa as fans hail medical staff
Banners bearing Anthoine Hubert's image have been hung ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix in tribute to the Frenchman who died in Saturday's Formula 2 race at Spa-Francorchamps.
Hubert lost his life after a high-speed collision with Juan Manuel Correa, who remains in hospital having undergone surgery. The American suffered fractures to both legs and a spinal injury.
F2's sprint race has been cancelled, following the abandonment of the feature race.
Formula 3's second race will take place, as will Formula 1's grand prix, with more tributes expected and memories of Hubert will loom large over the event.
In a touching tribute, the #BelgianGP Organisers have placed these posters at various points around the circuit, in tribute to Antoine Hubert.

As medical crews took a lap of the circuit on Sunday morning, crowds at the top of the Eau Rouge-Raidillon complex offered them a generous hand of appreciation.
