Verstappen will be with Red Bull in 2020, confirms Horner
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has reiterated his belief that Max Verstappen will remain a Red Bull driver for the 2020 Formula 1 season and beyond, in light of more rumours suggesting the Dutchman could move on to Mercedes or Ferrari.
Verstappen is currently fourth in the driver’s championship, with Red Bull yet to truly show whether or not they can compete with the top two - even with their lauded new Honda engine.

If the team fails to provide him with a car good enough to claim race victories, there has been speculation but he could move on.
Horner, however, has played down the rumours, saying he expects Verstappen to be behind the wheel of a Red Bull next year.
“Max has a contract and it’s very clear what that position is. I’m totally confident that he’ll be here next year,” he said.
“Three fourth positions in a row is getting a little bit boring now and I think we want to be fighting for the podium again.
“Max selected another gear since last years Canadian Grand Prix. We want to give him the tools that he can take the fight to Ferrari and Mercedes.”
The Red Bull boss was repeating his words after recently stating his confidence that Verstappen would stay with the team.
