Raikkonen's Alfa Romeo under investigation

Kimi could be in trouble.

Alfa Romeo are under investigation after Kimi Raikkonen's car was found to flout technical regulations. The front wing of Raikkonen's Alfa failed a deflection test during scrutineering, which could see the Finn drop way back from eighth on the grid.

In all likelihood, Raikkonen will join Pierre Gasly and Robert Kubica in starting from the pit-lane.

A stewards' report said a check on Raikkonen's car found that the "front wing flap deflected more than 5mm under a load of 60 N."

If Alfa have to change the front wing, it will break parc ferme rules - the punishment for which is generally a pit-lane start.

The Finn has scored points in all three races so far this season, indeed his 12-point haul makes up all of Alfa's scores so far this year.

Antonio Giovinazzi had qualified eighth in Baku, but will start 18th after taking a new control electronics.
