Mercedes' new Formula E car was given its track debut this week as Stoffel Vandoorne and Edoardo Mortara gave the Silver Arrow 01 an outing in Varano, Italy across a two-day testing event as the German marque ramp up preparations ahead of its FE debut.
Vandoorne drives for the Mercedes-affiliated HWA in FE, having left Formula 1 at the end of last year, the brand which previously served as Mercedes' de facto entry in DTM.
Edoardo Mortara, who drives for Venturi in FE, previously raced in DTM for HWA and was also in action alongside the Belgian.
