It's only once the Formula 1 campaign finally starts that you truly remember how those barren raceless mid-season weekends feel – like the deserts miss the rain, we believe it was put best by electro-pop group Everything But the Girl in the 90s.

Ah yes, missing F1 when a race isn't on – which is the case this weekend, landing slap bang in the middle of the Australian and Bahrain Grands Prix.
