Lights Out: Hamilton reserves praise for two young drivers

Four-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has picked out Red Bull's Max Verstappen as a future title winner whilst also praising the ability and desire displayed by Billy 'Whizz' Monger in his attempts to recover his career after losing part of his leg. It's lights out for Saturday morning!

Hamilton is one of the most talented drivers in the history of the sport and made an impact at a young age. He has praised the abilities of Max Verstappen and reckons the Dutchman is a future champion in the making.

Verstappen is not the only junior driver that Hamilton took time out to lay out the superlatives, as he is in awe of Billy Monger's recovery attempts after his tragic accident which cost him part of his leg.

The comments weren't all positive from the Mercedes star on Friday however, as he revealed that he hopes Sebastian Vettel has a "painful" season due to a failed attempt to win the championship.

Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz has insisted that he is fully concentrated on Renault and only Renault in the 2018 season, despite being on loan at the French manufacturer from Red Bull where he is a graduated member of their young driver program.

Sainz is a former Toro Rosso driver, and it was certainly a productive testing after they topped the laps in Barcelona:
