The third day of pre-season testing in Formula One fell silent as persistent snow at the Circuit de Catalunya brought proceedings to a halt. Not that it dampened spirits too much, with plenty of teams getting in on the fun.

Freezing conditions hadn't stopped the teams running on days one and two in Barcelona, but Wednesday brought fresher, whiter conditions.

What to do in the snow? Build a snowman of course! Mercedes have their priorities right...

Others prefer to snuggle up and look at the snow from the confines of their own home... or garage in this case.

It certainly looked cosy down at Force India...

Teams may have grown frustrated at the lack of running, missing out on vital information.
