Perez drove 2019 Red Bull RB15 at Silverstone

Sergio Perez made his Red Bull debut at Silverstone on Tuesday afternoon lapping the circuit in the 2019 RB15.

On the same day that Red Bull launched its 2021 challenger, the RB16B, Perez got behind the wheel of the '19 car in a test at Silverstone.

As per the regulations, teams are allowed to test cars that are at least two years out of date, a rule that was used by numerous teams in the paddock last year to bring drivers back up to speed after the elongated winter break.

Both Perez and team-mate Max Verstappen will sample the RB16B for the first time on Wednesday with the team using one of its filming days.
