Sky Sports confirm cheaper deal for F1 fans and release 2019 advert
Sky Sports have released a slick advert, featuring Martin Brundle and Jenson Button, ahead of its coverage for the 2019 campaign, while confirming details of a much cheaper rate that Formula 1 fans can pay to access all 21 races live this year.
Sky has held rights for F1 since 2012, but almost all of the next five easons are set to disappear behind its paywall.
Nevertheless, with excitement building for the new season after the first pre-season test, Sky have capitalised on the moment.
It's lights out... and away we go!

Brundle featured in the advert, of course in his newly found natural habitat of the grid walk.
The former racer tweeted a hint that Sky Sports may be available for F1 fans on a cheaper deal in 2019 – with all but one live race – the British GP – taken off free-to-air television for the year ahead.
All systems go @SkySportsF1 Loved being part of making this promo, we are really going for it in 2019 and looking forward to your company. Great SkyF1 pricing news incoming too. ???? https://t.co/wdfHbgBaWM — Martin Brundle (@MBrundleF1) February 22, 2019
Sky Sports later confirmed that its F1 channel will be available for £10 per month – much cheaper than a standard sports package, which had previously been required to access the channel.
There is a new chapter for F1 in 2019, Sky Sports F1, the Home of Live and Exclusive F1
To celebrate becoming the home of live and exclusive F1, Sky Sports F1 will be available for just £10 a month from 1 March

The price is capped for two year, according to Sky – but is £120 cheap enough to entice non-Sky customers in? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter.
