PHOTOS: Hamilton, Prost and more F1 stars turn out for Lauda funeral
Formula 1 stars past and present including Lewis Hamilton and Alain Prost convened in Vienna to pay their final respects to Niki Lauda at the three-time world champion's funeral on Wednesday. Lauda died last week aged 70 after multiple illnesses.
Tributes were paid to Lauda up and down the grid at last weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, with teams dedicating patches of their car liveries to the Austrian great.
Both Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel raced with helmets sporting Lauda's famous red design, fittingly taking to the top two steps on the podium.
Fans turned out in their droves to offer condolences to Lauda at St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, while many famous names from the motorsport world were present for the private funeral ceremony.
