Good news for the spectators at the Circuit of the Americas for the United States Grand Prix on Sunday as the track in Austin, Texas looks set to have dry conditions during the race. Free practice on Friday was disturbed by heavy rain but it cleared up for qualifying, and the improved climate is set to continue into Sunday.

The expected climate will come as a relief to Ferrari, who have struggled in the wet conditions at points during the season, notably in Hungary, Belgium, and Japan.

However, Lewis Hamilton poised to claim his fifth world championship and only needs to better Sebastian Vettel's points tally on the day by eight in order to be crowned champion.

The Brit is the most successful driver in the history of the US GP and has six wins to his name including consecutive victories in the last four races in Austin.
