A host of regular Sky Sports F1 pundits are absent from their coverage at this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix, including star analyst Martin Brundle, lead commentator David Croft and pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz.

After the summer break, the F1 2026 season continues in Zandvoort across this weekend, culminating in the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

However, fans who have tuned into the coverage so far will have realised that a number of regular pundits and commentators are not in Zandvoort this weekend.

This includes regular commentators Martin Brundle and David Croft, popular pit lane reporter Ted Kravitz, and presenter Simon Lazenby.

So far, Natalie Pinkham has led the coverage as presenter, with Karun Chandhok and Naomi Schiff on pundit duties. Harry Benjamin, meanwhile, has deputised for Croft as lead commentator, with Anthony Davidson alongside him. In Kravitz's absence, Bernie Collins has been reporting from the pit lane.

Why are Sky Sports F1 pundits missing from Dutch Grand Prix?

Sky Sports have not announced the exact reason why the above figures are missing this weekend, but Kravitz himself appeared to confirm why he and Lazenby won't be in attendance in the Netherlands at the Hungarian Grand Prix in July.

“We will see you for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort on the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of August," Kravitz said on his famous Notebook show in Budapest.

“I'll still be on my outbound course with Simon Lazenby on Ullswater Lake, so I won't be there.

“So I will return with the notebook at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza a week after Zandvoort.”

So, that explains what Kravitz and Lazenby are up to, but what about Brundle and Croft?

Well, Brundle confirmed back in April that he only does 16 races per year, and that he would be at 15 of the remaining 19 races this season at the time, so while not confirmed, it seems likely that this is simply one of his 'off races', so to speak.

This is also not the first time that Croft has missed a race weekend, with Benjamin regularly stepping in to deputize for him in the commentary box in recent seasons, such is the gruelling nature of the F1 calendar these days.
