Red Bull has broken cover with the true RB18 for the first time with Max Verstappen beginning the team's pre-season preparations.
Red Bull was the second team to launch its 2022 F1 machinery after Haas but it was quickly noticed that the car featured in the launch was nothing more than the show car, launched by F1 at Silverstone last year, in a fresh coat of paint.
Like most other teams, Red Bull did complete a shakedown test with limited running at Silverstone although no images were published from this running.
Immediately obvious on the RB18 are the scoops below the sidepod air intakes. The suspension also catches the eye with Red Bull following a similar path to McLaren with pullrod suspension at the front and pushrod at the rear.
Verstappen will drive the car for the entirety of Wednesday with Sergio Perez substituting in for Thursday. The pair will split duties on Friday.
