Alfa Romeo confirm February launch in Poland

Alfa Romeo has confirmed it will take the covers off the C41 in Warsaw on February 22.

In a nod to title sponsor ORLEN, Alfa Romeo will launch its 2021 car in the Polish capital where some of the companies "key operations" are located.

The team is the first to confirm a launch date for its car although Alpine has indicated a February livery reveal, with Aston Martin announcing similar plans for March.

Last year, the team finished third last in the constructors' standings, scoring eight points and finishing ahead of only Haas and Williams.

The team has retained a driver line-up of Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi but is yet to confirm if Robert Kubica will remain as its reserve driver despite team principal Frédéric Vasseur expressing his desire to see the Polish driver remain in position.

The time and exact location of the launch will be announced at a later date with the only confirmed details issued being the February 22 date and that the ceremony will take place somewhere in Warsaw.
